First, I finally got around to adding a ton of friends to our blog list. If you see your blog there and want me to remove it please let me know. If you don't see your blog there and would like me to add it, let me know. I am not purposefully adding or not adding people. I just don't know everyone's blogs and/or their feelings about being on ours. Email us at thepalmerfam-at-hotmail-dot-com. Thanks!
Second, I am on the hunt for the BEST Spaghetti Sauce recipe in the whole world. I have tried tons and haven't found "the one" yet. If you have an awesome recipe please pass it on. If I get any responses, I will try them all, and my hubby and kiddos will "judge" them. If you are the lucky winner, you just might get something pretty spectacular in the mail! :) Even if I have no idea who you are and you like to read my blog because it is so amazingly exciting, you are welcome to send a recipe on. Email me at thepalmerfam-at-hotmail-dot-com. Thanks!
Merry Christmas!!

I wish I could send you our recipe, but Paul has a strict policy about keeping it a secret! Sorry. But it takes all day and is a big pain, so it's certainly not for everyone.
But hey, if we ever have to move in with the in-laws, or find a job out there, we'll definitely give you some!

This is my grandma's recipe. I think it is the best! Hope you enjoy!
1 lb hamburger
1 small onion
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 envelope spaghetti mix
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
Brown hamburger and onion. Add salt and pepper. Stir in tomato sauce and paste, then one can of water in each. Add spaghetti mix. Add minced garlic, Worchestershire sauce and simmer until blended well.
ok..so here is an additon to the recipe I submitted yesterday. My grandma is a "pinch of this, dab of that" kind of cook. She said she sometimes adds italian seasoning, some sugar, and/or cinnamon. Sometimes to stretch it she will add a jar of Ragu too. So, basically it is a trial and error recipe. I am too lazy to make it...I usually just use Ragu but I am going to attempt this one day soon...I will let you know the results. Good luck!
ah ha! Thank goodness for facebook because I've been thinking about you lately! If you don't mind I'm going to add you to my bloglist so that I can keep tabs on you! You can check out my blog at beltsrgreat.blogspot.com if you want!
