My kids love, love, love to play with play dough. I usually just make it instead of buying it. My kids will play with play dough all afternoon. It can keep them occupied for hours which is VERY nice. However I don't pull it out very often. Why? Because this is what it looks like when they are done playing.
Yes, that is cottage cheese mixed with the play dough...thanks Bri.
the one good thing about the mess is that I don't mind throwing play dough away. Once it dries out a little bit it's easy to sweep up and then less mess the next time:)
what a mess! my girls are the same way with the play dough-Its so hard to let your kids have fun when you have to clean up such a big mess when they're done with the fun.
just a tip from one mom to the next...I felt the same way, till a friend of mine suggested I buy a new shower curtain just for play dough. it only cost a buck or two from the dollar store, kids have to stay on it,then you take it outside and either shake it out or spray it off...I know the feeling, but now it is a little easier!
I am so not looking forward to getting back into that stage of Parenting again! LOL Thanks for stopping by the Blog and saying Hi! It is nice to have someone every once in awhile comment that I actually know! Gosh the kids are getting Big. Where does the time go? Hugs to everyone over in the Palmer House Jennifer
Ben and I have been married for 8 years. We have 4 kids, two boys and two girls. We had them in 4.5 years and life gets a bit crazy from time to time. Now that they are all here, we are very excited to get on with the business of raising them. We love our little family and are so happy to learn and grow together.

Yes, this is the reason why I don't do play doh that often either. Mine usually ends up ground into the carpet or couch. Do you get that too?
