I know I haven't posted in a while. I have a lot to post about. Ben's birthday, my birthday, the kids, pics of my new bathroom. I'm sure I can think of more. But I'm not going to...not today.
Emma has swine flu. She has had a constant fever, aches, chills, no appetite, and an awesome cough. Her fever has been right around 103 for a couple of days. I hope it breaks soon. Bri and Clay now have fevers too and each of them is developing a pretty nice little cough. So far Justice seems fine. All 4 of them are on Tamiflu, so hopefully it doesn't get too bad. We are in quarantine for 7 days. Emma doesn't get to finish the last few days of school and she is pretty bummed. We are just hunkering down and trying to make this next week as enjoyable as possible. Lots of movies, lots of popcorn, and lots of meds.
Once we emerge from all of this, I will post all of the things I have been neglecting.
Merry Christmas!!

Seriously? Sarah, I believe these things happen to you because you have enough patience to stand up to them. Good luck, and tell Emma to stop kissing pigs!!!
Sarah as if you guys haven't had a rough enough year. Geeze!!! Try alternating Tylenol and Motrin every 3 hours to keep the fever down if you are not doing so already. (example: Tylenol 1pm, Motrin 4pm, Tylenol 7pm, Motrin 10pm, etc.) Motrin usually does a better job. We hope and pray it doesn't last long.
ohmygoodness!
Good luck!
ah man, that is rough! i hope you all don't get it! and poor emma, having to miss the last of school! :( good luck!
It's official, your kids have had every illness there is to get. Hope everyone gets better soon!
EEE GADS! I hope it's over soon with out extra complications! I'm so sorry those kids just can't stay healthy! We're prayin for ya!
I could have SO guessed this one! What DOESN'T happen to the Palmer Clan? I mean, REALLY!?! And yet, I am so bummed for you all the same. How I wish I could drive down the street (like I could in VA, IN, and MI) and bring in a meal, popsicles, or a movie. And yet, I CAN pour out my heart to the Lord in your behalf.
And so pray I will.
Sarah ((HUGS))!! I can't imagine the Lord giving you more that you can handle and you have proved a pretty tough cookie! I'm so sorry that Emma has the flu and the kids are coming along in the same fashion. I know its hard to flip this Pollyanna style but maybe the silver lining in this is that when the H1N1 virus gains stronger strength your kids will be happily immune :)
Lots of live momma!!
